Carey Hughes is an associate in the San Diego office of Morrison Foerster and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.
Before becoming an attorney, Carey joined a computer software company that raised over $500 million in venture financing. As part of a global growth strategy, the company also acquired organizations in Brazil, France, and Israel before consummating its initial public offering.
Carey received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he was an editor for the UC Irvine Law Review. After his first year of school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaiʻi.
Prior to law school, Carey was a STEM teacher in Miami, Florida.Show More
