Chantelle Southerland is an associate in the Technology Transactions Group of Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo office.

Chantelle earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2019, where she was a Hamilton Fellow and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During her time at law school, she worked for the Columbia Journal of Asian Law and served as a student advocate for the Adolescent Representation Clinic representing young adults in a variety of cases related to aging out of foster care. She received her B.A. in History from Yale University and holds a master’s degree from Yonsei University.
