Chanwoo Park is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, including patent, trade secret, and copyright disputes in federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). He has represented clients in intellectual property matters involving a broad range of technologies, including semiconductors, consumer electronics, software as a service, automotive, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Park has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, fact and expert depositions, motion practice, summary judgment, trial, and post-trial briefing. He maintains an active pro bono practice that includes representation in housing rights, First Amendment, foster care, and immigration cases.
Mr. Park received his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Legal Information Institute Supreme Court Bulletin and an editor of the Cornell International Law Journal. Mr. Park received his B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Rochester.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Park was a Teach for America corps member and taught math at a public high school in New York.
