Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Day was a plant biology intern with Dr. Julin Maloof. Her scientific research background includes researching gene regulation of resource allocation in Brassica rapa in response to shading, applying micro- and nanoscale technologies to deliver small RNA molecules for gene silencing, measuring mychorrizal enzymatic impact on the growth of pygmy forests, and testing the malignancy of protein Lz-8 on head and neck cancer cells.

Ms. Day earned her B.S. in biological sciences from the University of California, Davis, where she was the president of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Davis.

Christina is a fluent Mandarin speaker.
