Christina Golden, an associate in the Securities Litigation, Enforcement and White Collar-Defense Practice Group, has extensive experience in complex commercial disputes with a focus on securities, M&A litigation, and white collar investigations.
Ms. Golden represents directors, officers and corporations in litigation involving corporate governance and federal securities matters. She regularly defends clients in federal and state courts across the country in a variety of corporate and complex commercial disputes, including securities fraud suits, mergers, proxy contests and appraisal proceedings. Ms. Golden also has experience defending clients in government investigations. In addition, she regularly represents clients at trial and in arbitration, and has particular experience in the Delaware Court of Chancery. Ms. Golden’s practice also includes advising on the Delaware law of corporations in connection with mergers and other corporate transactions.
Ms. Golden is committed to pro bono service, including working on employment discrimination matters and defending a legal services organization.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Golden practiced in the Wilmington, Delaware office of an international law firm.
Ms. Golden graduated from Columbia Law School, where she was honored as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She was also presented with the Clinical Legal Education Association’s Outstanding Student Award, for her dedication to the Child Advocacy Clinic and Adolescent Representation Project. During her time in law school, Ms. Golden also served as a production editor of the Columbia Journal of Gender & Law, and as a legal intern in the Bronx office of Legal Services NYC. Ms. Golden earned her Bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University.
