Christopher Lew is a scientific specialist in the Intellectual Property Group. The scientific specialist team conducts patent and non-patent literature searches for patentability, freedom to operate, invalidity, landscape, and due diligence analysis. The scientific specialist team also provides general patent prosecution support.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Christopher was a research assistant at the University of California, Davis where he assisted in pre-breeding field experiments involving water stress in genetically diverse introgression lines of processing and fresh market tomatoes. Christopher performed field preparation and planting, collected and entered in-field phenotypic data for tomato and pepper, tomato seed collection and sowing, and performing tomato crosses in-greenhouse.
Christopher received his B.S., with high honors, in plant sciences with an emphasis on plant breeding and genetics, from the University of California, Davis.Show More
