Christopher C. McKinnon is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Palo Alto office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department. His practice focuses on corporate transactions and securities law matters, including venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, and corporate governance.

Mr. McKinnon earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2015. While in law school, he received the Lawrence Lederman Fellowship in Law & Economics and the Flora S. & Jacob L. Newman Prize from NYU. He also served on the Executive Board of the NYU Journal of Law & Business. Mr. McKinnon completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012, and graduated with the highest honors.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. McKinnon worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable James M. Humes at the California Court of Appeal, First District.
