Christopher Robinson is a senior associate with more than a decade of experience litigating patent, copyright, trade secret, breach of contract, and consumer class action cases. He has played a key role on the trial teams of several significant and high-profile IP cases. His clients include iconic brands and Fortune 500 companies in cutting-edge industries involving smartphones, electric vehicles, computer software, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. He brings to his cases enthusiasm, key strategic guidance, exceptional lawyering skills and writing ability, and efficient case management.

Mr. Robinson graduated Top 10% from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he won membership into the Order of the Coif. He excelled in contracts, torts, and intellectual property law, and he won Best Appellant Brief in the Giles Rich (Patent) Moot Court Competition. While serving as a judicial extern in federal court in the Northern District of California, the Honorable Judge James Ware awarded him a Gold Coin of Excellence. 

Mr. Robinson currently serves as an editor for the ABA Expert Witness Newsletter, and contributes articles to the ABA and elsewhere on topics involving patent damages, expert witness preparation, and legal writing.

Mr. Robinson also has a strong commitment to the firm’s pro bono practice.  He served as first-chair in a federal civil rights trial tried to a jury in the Northern District of California (Hon. Judge Breyer).  He also successfully obtained a preliminary injunction on behalf of a woman’s rights organization targeted by violent extremists.

  • (District of New Jersey) Represented plaintiff medical device manufacturer in patent infringement lawsuit against competitor, resulting in a favorable settlement on the eve of our client’s preliminary injunction hearing.

  • (Southern District of New York) Represented defendant hydration backpack manufacturer in patent litigation.  Secured early summary judgment and an award of attorneys’ fees.

  • (District of Delaware) Represented drug manufacturer in a Hatch-Waxman suit relating to blood thinning drug.
