Clara’s practice focuses primarily on structured products and securities offerings, for both the retail and wholesale markets. Clara has acted for a number of bank issuers on the establishment and renewal of structured products and EMTN programmes which are compliant with the Prospectus Directive regime in the EU. She specializes in structured securities with a range of underliers, (including equity, indices, FX and funds), as well as experience in OTC derivatives and structured finance transactions.

Clara also advises bank and other financial institutions on various regulatory issues affecting structured products issuers and the derivatives market, including the Prospectus Directive, PRIIPs, and MiFID II.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Clara spent time working in Hong Kong and at another City law firm in London. Clara is qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales, Hong Kong and Australia (New South Wales).
