Connor’s practice focuses on advising venture capital firms on seed to late stage investments and counseling emerging companies and social enterprises throughout their life cycle, including on initial formation and structuring, angel investments and venture capital financings, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. In this capacity, Connor often serves in the role of outside general counsel to his emerging company and social enterprise clients.
Connor earned his J.D. as well as his LL.M. in Law and Entrepreneurship from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Law and Contemporary Problems publication. He holds a B.A., with honors, from the University of Maryland Honors College.

Advised Ally Bridge Group (HK) Limited, as co-lead investor with Bain Capital Life Sciences, in connection with a Series C financing round totaling $85 million in Imperative Care, an innovative startup that is dedicated to improving the way strokes are treated.

Advised the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as lead investor in the Series B financing of Enko Chem, Inc., developer of novel products for farmers to protect their crops from pests and disease.
Advised BlackBerry Ltd. (NYSE: BB; TSE: BB), in its $1.4 billion acquisition of Cylance, an artificial intelligence and cybersecurity leader.

Advised GI Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity fund, and its portfolio company, Insurity, Inc., on Insurity's acquisition of SpatialKey, Inc., a leading provider of geospatial analytics, data enrichment, and risk intelligence solutions for the property and casualty insurance industry.
- Ingenuity Foods
Advised Ingenuity Foods, Inc., in its Series A financing led by Lux Ventures.
- Rhia Ventures
Advised Rhia Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investing in women's health, in the formation of a special purpose deal by deal vehicle that aims to invest in firms that further women's reproductive health.
Advised popchips, one of the leading better-for-you snack brands in North America, in its acquisition by VMG Partners, a private equity firm specializing in building iconic consumer brands. VMG Partners has acquired the popchips business in North America and other markets around the world from Verlinvest, a European private equity firm.
- Sprint and SoftBank Group
Advised Sprint Corp. and SoftBank Group Corp., the controlling shareholder of Sprint, on the all stock merger of Sprint and T-Mobile US, Inc. The total implied enterprise value for Sprint in the transaction was approximately $59 billion and the aggregate for the combined company enterprise value was approximately $146 billion.
- Spark Networks SE
Advised Spark Networks SE (NYSE: LOV) on its combined cash and stock acquisition of Zoosk, Inc., which created the second largest dating company in North America.
- Xpansiv Data Systems, Inc.
Advised Xpansiv Data Systems, Inc. (Xpansiv), developer of a digital assets platform designed to drive the digitization of commodities, in its merger with Commodity Bourses Limited (CBL), trading as CBL Markets.
