Craig Phillips is of counsel in the Federal Tax department in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. He advises corporate and private equity fund clients on federal income tax matters related to domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, spinoffs and other strategic transactions. His practice includes partnership, corporate and international tax matters. Mr. Phillips has also represented clients in connection with tax controversy and litigation matters, including before the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Tax Court.
