Daniel Irvin is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was a Summer Law Clerk in the Office of the General Counsel for the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART).

Daniel earned his J.D. at Stanford Law School, where he was the Executive Editor for the Environmental Law Journal and Co-President of the Energy & Infrastructure Club. While at Stanford he served as a research fellow for Impact Capital Managers, and worked with Morrison & Foerster to research legal innovations for impact private equity and venture capital. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.S. in Environment and Resources (concentration in Energy) from Stanford University. His capstone project for the M.S. studied the relationship of wildfire risk, housing values, and home insurance in California.
