David Block is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office.

Mr. Block focuses his practice on representing publicly and privately held companies in a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and various corporate transactions. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster as an associate, he served as a summer associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Mr. Block earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Senior Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law, was Co-Director of the Community Financial Literacy Project, and won the Mark E. Lefever Prize for the best paper in the field of Law & Economics. While at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, he also concurrently received a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Block earned his B.A. from Haverford College.
