Dennis Li focuses on patent drafting and prosecution with an emphasis on artificial intelligence technologies and computer science.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Dennis worked on the artificial intelligence team at a technology company that provided scientific, engineering, and information technology research and consulting services to federal agencies. He provided support on a range of projects in technologies including embedded software, deep neural networks, radio frequencies, and graph classification. As an undergraduate and graduate student, Dennis worked in a lab researching distributed database architectures and online schema migration. His research interests also led to projects using mathematical decision models to analyze healthcare resource allocation and deep learning to address CRISPR off-target effects. Dennis was both an undergraduate and graduate teaching assistant in the University of Maryland’s Department of Computer Science.

Dennis received his M.S. and B.S. in computer science from the University of Maryland.
