Diana Mariko Maltzer is a litigator with nearly a decade of experience representing multinational corporations in securities and derivative litigation, related white-collar matters, internal investigations, and adjacent commercial litigation.

Ms. Maltzer has served as the lead associate in multiple securities class actions and derivate suits relating to Sections 10(b) and 20(a) and Rule 10b-5 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. She also has extensive experience advising clients in internal investigations—including those pertaining to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)—as well as working with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Prior to joining MoFo, Ms. Maltzer was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in the Silicon Valley. She also previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Elizabeth D. Laporte in the Northern District of California.

Ms. Maltzer received her J.D. cum laude with a concentration in civil litigation from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She received her B.A. cum laude from the University of California, Davis with a dual major in International Relations and Political Science, for which she received a Department Citation for Excellence, and a minor in Spanish. While at U.C. Davis, she co-founded the university’s chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity.
