Dinah Ximena Ortiz is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. Ms. Ortiz focuses her practice on patent litigation. She has represented clients in matters involving a range of technologies, including computer hardware and software.
Ms. Ortiz has represented clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement suits and contract disputes. Ms. Ortiz has worked with experts in developing liability analyses and damages reports. She has taken a number of depositions of percipient witnesses.
Ms. Ortiz received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. While at UC Berkeley, she served as an executive editor of the California Law Review and volunteered with the California Asylum Representation Clinic. She received her B.A. in history and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
