Ned Welch is of counsel in the Capital Markets Group of the New York office of Morrison & Foerster.

Mr. Welch represents issuers, underwriters and placement agents in a variety of financing transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, both domestically and abroad. He also advises corporate clients on a broad range of securities law and corporate governance matters. Mr. Welch is co-author of Considerations for Foreign Banks Financing in the US, published by International Financial Law Review (2014).

Mr. Welch received a J.D. degree from the Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Environmental Law Journal. Mr. Welch was previously associated with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, practicing in both its New York and London offices.

Mr. Welch is recommended by Legal 500 US 2016.
