Erik Manukyan is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's Los Angeles office. Erik is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was principal senior editor of the National Security Journal. While in law school, Erik served as co-president of the Armenian Law Students Association and was a student contributor for Lawfare, publishing several blog posts on cybersecurity and consumer privacy issues.

As a law student, Erik also interned for the Public Integrity Unit at the United States Attorney’s Office in Boston, MA and the Department of Justice, Fraud Section in Washington, D.C., where he wrote several evidentiary motions, researched issues such as obstruction of justice and victim restitution, and contributed to the preparation of jury instructions in a tax fraud prosecution.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster’s Litigation Department, Erik was a summer associate in the Los Angeles office. Since joining the firm, Erik’s practice has focused on privacy and data security matters.

Erik received his B.A. summa cum laude in Political Science from UCLA.
