Evan Leitch is Of Counsel in the firm’s Mergers + Acquisitions and Corporate Finance | Capital Markets practices.

Evan has over a decade of experience advising on complex private and public mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and private equity transactions. He advises clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including public and private debt and equity securities offerings, mergers, acquisitions, investments and joint ventures, reorganizations, growth equity and venture capital investments, divestitures, and shareholder activism and defense. He also advises companies on strategic and corporate governance issues and compliance with securities laws and stock exchange listing rules, and he advises shareholders in connection with buying, holding, and selling stakes in public companies.

Evan has been actively involved in pro bono and firm service efforts. Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, he was a senior associate in the Denver office of an international law firm where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate governance, and private equity. Before moving to Denver, he was an associate in the New York and London offices of another international law firm.
