Dr. Greg Dwulet focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, with an emphasis on chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Areas of his research include organic and polymer chemistry.

Prior to joining the firm, Greg was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he synthesized novel redox-active polymers for next-generation battery electrode materials. Greg earned his Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder, where his research focused on creating new heterogeneous catalysts for industrially relevant organic reactions based on nanostructured liquid crystal polymer networks. The technical accomplishments of this research include achieving unprecedented catalyst activity and substrate selectivity for catalytic alcohol oxidation, and incorporating mutually antagonistic catalytic sites into the same nanoporous material for sequential tandem catalysis. Greg also developed breathable membranes for protection against chemical warfare agents and worked closely with chemical and mechanical engineers to create prototypes, evaluate performance under application conditions, and conduct failure analyses.

Greg received his B.S. in chemistry with honors from Whitman College, where he developed new synthetic methods for polyhedral boron-cluster molecules.
