Eunice Lau is a patent agent in the firm’s San Diego office.

Dr. Lau received her Ph.D. in biology from the University of California, San Diego, where she was the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship from 2013 to 2016. Her doctoral research focused on the effect of the metabolic state on neural circuit function and olfactory behavior, and was conducted at the Salk Institute. She developed skills in microscopy, microfluidics, microfabrication, molecular biology, genetics, and genomics.

Dr. Lau obtained her B.S. in biology and neurobiology from the University of Washington, where her undergraduate research focused on neural development and pigment pattern formation.

Dr. Lau is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is fluent in Cantonese.
