Harikrishna “Hari” Mehta is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the firm’s Financial Transactions Group. Mr. Mehta focuses his practice on the representation of private equity sponsors, commercial and investment banks, and public and private companies in structuring and negotiating a wide variety of financial transactions, with a particular emphasis on leveraged buyouts, corporate credit facilities and mezzanine financing.

Mr. Mehta advises clients from a multitude of industries, including financial services, investment management, renewable energy, technology, cybersecurity, pharmaceuticals, electronic hardware, retail, carpeting, recycling, and veterinary care. He has advised on transactions ranging in value from one million to several billion dollars.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mehta was as an associate in the Los Angeles office of a large, U.S.-based international law firm. While there, he represented a broad range of clients, including financial institutions, commercial and investment banks, borrowers, private equity sponsors and agents, in connection with acquisition financings, standalone financings, syndicated credit facilities, secured and unsecured facilities, multi-lien facilities, cross-border facilities, restructurings and general corporate matters.

Mr. Mehta received his B.S. in Business Administration in 2007 from University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2014.

Mr. Mehta is admitted to practice in California.
