Dr. Huang Huang is a member of the firm’s Patent Group and focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling. Dr. Huang has expertise in chemistry, laser technology, and laser spectroscopy.

Dr. Huang earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, where he served as an editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. He obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China, in Hefei, China.

Dr. Huang’s doctoral research focused on spectroscopic investigation of catalitic properties of transition metal–containing organic and inorganic molecules. He has published 10 papers incorporating his expertise in chemical synthesis, laser technology, and laser spectroscopy.

Dr. Huang is fluent in Mandarin.
