Huang Huang is a member of the firm’s Patent Group and focuses his practice on patent prosecution and patent diligence across a wide array of technologies. Dr. Huang counsels clients in the fields of materials science, molecular diagnostics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Huang has experience in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, patent portfolio analyses and management, patent due diligence, and freedom-to-operate analyses. His clients include companies of all sizes, from start-ups to multinationals.

Dr. Huang earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, where he served as an editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. He obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, China.

Dr. Huang is fluent in Mandarin.
