Hunter Moss is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Hunter advises emerging companies and venture capital investors, companies involved in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, fund sponsors on the formation and maintenance of private investment funds, and institutional investors related to their investments in private investment funds.

Before joining Morrison & Foerster’s Corporate Department, Hunter was a summer associate in the San Francisco office during the summer of 2019.

Hunter earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. While in law school, Hunter was the Executive Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science and Technology, served as the Vice President for Outlaw, and was a member of the Jewish Law Students’ Association and the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. Hunter also served as a Certified Student Attorney for the University of Minnesota Business Law Clinic and the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic.

Hunter holds a B.A. in International Development Studies and Economics from McGill University. He is fluent in French.
