James advises clients on a wide range of complex dispute resolution matters, including white-collar crime, internal corporate investigations, fraud, compliance counselling, commercial and insolvency disputes, domestic and cross-border litigation and international arbitration. His advisory work covers a broad spectrum of industries and jurisdictions.

James also advises corporations and individuals in investigations and prosecutions by UK and U.S. government agencies, including the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). He assists clients with compliance and regulatory matters, which often include anti-money laundering, bribery and corruption, global risk assessment and sanctions.

James was seconded to Morrison & Foerster’s Singapore office where he advised multinational corporations in internal investigations and was involved in international arbitration matters. He is an active member of the firm’s pro bono practice and has a particular interest in conservation issues.

He received his Law LL.B (Hons) from King’s College London in 2015 and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Moorgate in 2016. James is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. He speaks Italian and French.
