Jannis T. Werner is an associate at Morrison & Foerster’s German office in Berlin and a member of our Technology Transactions Group. He focuses on advising domestic and international clients on contract law, copyrights, and e-commerce, as well as related transactions, with an emphasis on the internet, media, and technology sectors.

Online platforms, e-commerce, digital content distribution and emerging technologies like Blockchain and the Internet of Things – Mr. Werner’s practice is aligned with his personal enthusiasm for technology, the digital economy, and the growth-oriented businesses that define it. He advises both German and international clients, many active in the internet, media, and technology sectors, on a broad range of contract law issues and commercial transactions, as well as legal questions related to copyright, consumer protection compliance, and e-commerce.

Mr. Werner holds a dual degree in law and economics from the University of Bayreuth and a master's degree from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice in Germany and in New York State.
