Jared Kaplan is an associate in the Capital Markets Group of the New York office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. His practice focuses on the representation of issuers and underwriters in a wide range of public and private securities offerings.

Mr. Kaplan earned an LL.M in Global Business Law from New York University School of Law and an LL.M in Corporate Financial Services Law from the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law. Mr. Kaplan earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. While at Maryland, Mr. Kaplan was a member of the International Moot Court Board and competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. He received his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Mr. Kaplan was previously an associate in the Financial Institutions Group of another global law firm.
