Jasper’s practice focuses on national and cross-border transactions and he advises clients in Germany and abroad on questions of corporate and capital market law as well as banking supervisory law.

In addition to his corporate law experience, Jasper has extensive know-how advising banks, financial service institutions, and fintech companies on capital market and banking supervisory law as well as on issues relating to the use of media technologies.

Jasper studied law under a scholarship awarded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes) at the University of Göttingen and Yeditepe University in Istanbul. He completed his mandatory legal clerkship at the Superior Court of Justice (Kammergericht) in Berlin, and worked at a leading German law firm and the German embassy in Tel Aviv. For his dissertation at Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg, he was accorded the sponsorship award of the Foundation for Capital Markets Research for the Financial Center Germany. Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Jasper worked at a Berlin law firm specializing in banking law.

Jasper is an associate at the German office of Morrison & Foerster in Berlin and a member of the Corporate Law practice group.
