Jay Donde is an associate in the firm’s Privacy + Data Security Group in the San Francisco office.

Mr. Donde’s practice focuses on privacy and data security, helping clients to identify risks and implement practical solutions to comply with U.S. and international laws. He advises multinational companies on the privacy and data security aspects of their M&A and commercial transactions and negotiates tailored contractual provisions on his clients’ behalf. He also works closely with clients to formulate compliance programs appropriate to their needs. Mr. Donde earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as an advocate with the Transactional Law Clinics and as an editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Before attending law school, he worked as a data science consultant to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. He earned his B.A., with high honors, from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Donde is fluent in Hebrew.
