Jens-Uwe Hinder is co-managing partner at Morrison & Foerster’s German office in Berlin and the head of MoFo's German tax and accounting law practice.

He advises German and multinational institutional and private investors, in particular in connection with their cross-border investments (share and asset deals), including tax structuring, contract drafting, negotiating and implementing complex tax structures, as well as project management, due diligence and restructuring of multinational enterprises. Jens-Uwe Hinder has a strong focus on the media, technology, real estate and transportation sectors.

Mr. Hinder is also an experienced adviser of publicly owned undertakings, which he advises on tax matters in connection with their commercial businesses, such as sale and leaseback transactions, as well as in conjunction with their real estate assets.

Since 2004 Mr. Hinder lectures tax and business law at the Berlin Brandenburgische Academy at Berlin and since 2015 income tax and international tax at the University of Potsdam. He authored numerous essays and articles, especially on corporate income tax and trade tax matters as well as international tax.
