Jesse Finfrock is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Group.
Mr. Finfrock’s practice focuses on “impact” investing and social entrepreneurship. Mr. Finfrock counsels family offices, foundations, venture capital investors, charities, startups and emerging companies on structuring, early-stage and late-stage financings, and general transactional matters. He works with clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, healthcare, life sciences, education, media, social services and consumer products. He currently serves as co-chair of the firm’s San Francisco sustainability committee.
Mr. Finfrock earned his B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2005 and received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley – School of Law in 2014, where he launched a student social venture group and ran a social enterprise he cofounded. Jesse is a member of Echoing Green’s Legal Advisory Group, Start Small Think Big’s Founding Partner Advisory Council, and the Impact Investing Legal Working Group, among others. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Finfrock was corporate counsel at a local law firm headquartered in San Francisco.
