Joan Kim is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster’s New York office.

Ms. Kim received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the N.Y.U. Review of Law & Social Change, served as Co-President of the Asia Law Society, and co-led Student Outreach for Law Women. During her clinical work, Ms. Kim worked with the ACLU Voting Rights Project. She spent her last semester of law school studying at Sciences Po in Paris.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Ms. Kim spent several years as a paralegal at another New York City law firm. She was a summer associate in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office; during this time she assisted with a variety of transactional projects. Ms. Kim received her B.A. with honors in political science and French from Swarthmore College.
