John Davie is of counsel in the Real Estate Group in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office.  

Mr. Davie’s practice covers a wide variety of commercial real estate matters, with particular emphasis on real estate finance.

Mr. Davie has over 25 years of experience handling complex real estate transactions in both in-house and private practice settings. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Davie served as Associate General Counsel at Forest City Ratner Companies where he was responsible for a wide variety of legal matters, including sales and acquisitions, financing, leasing, joint ventures, ground leases, restructurings, development, public-private partnerships, asset management and regulatory compliance. Prior to working at Forest City Ratner, Mr. Davie was a real estate associate at Morrison & Foerster.

Mr. Davie is recommended by Legal 500 US 2019.
