John Papaspanos is an associate in the firm’s Finance & Projects Group, resident in the New York office.

Mr. Papaspanos’ practice focuses on U.S. domestic and international project and acquisition financings, tax equity transactions, and other debt and equity financing transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects and companies. In particular, he has advised sponsors on public-private infrastructure development.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Papaspanos practiced in the New York office of one of the largest law firms in the United States.

Mr. Papaspanos earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Business, Economics and Public Policy from the Wharton School. From 2010 to 2011, he conducted research on energy geopolitics and EU energy policy in Thessaloniki, Greece as a Fulbright Scholar.
