Jonathan Statman is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group.
Mr. Statman’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling, portfolio management, and post-grant proceedings.

Mr. Statman represents, or has represented, clients involved in electronic hardware and software, including consumer electronics, memory systems, sensors, user interfaces, signal processing, and information systems.

Mr. Statman is an active member of The Judge Paul R. Michel Intellectual Property American Inn of Court and the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association (LAIPLA). Before receiving his J.D., Mr. Statman worked as a hardware engineer, gaining experience with circuit design and digital systems.

Mr. Statman received his J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, where he was an articles editor for the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology. Mr. Statman received his M.S. in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology, and his B.S. magna cum laude in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
