Mr. Aris received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he graduated with pro bono distinction for his work with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, a Stanford pro bono project. He also served as a 1L associate editor for the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties.

While in law school, Mr. Aris was a legal intern for the Center for Biological Diversity in Oakland, where he performed research on and drafted memos concerning Freedom of Information Act administrative appeals.

Mr. Aris also holds a B.S. summa cum laude in wildlife ecology and conservation, as well as a B.A. cum laude in philosophy from the University of Florida, Gainesville.
