Julie Nicholson is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Criminal Defense Group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and corporate internal investigations.

Ms. Nicholson represents companies and industry participants in internal investigations and SEC investigations, including those involving whistleblower claims, accounting and disclosure issues, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). She also regularly advises clients on global compliance programs and anti-corruption due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions. Her experience includes conducting global risk assessments and assisting clients with developing, reviewing and implementing FCPA and other compliance policies and procedures and training. She represents corporate and individual clients in a broad range of industries, including technology, energy, media, and consumer products.

Ms. Nicholson earned her J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she was a managing editor of the UCLA Law Review and helped clients as a volunteer member of the Mobile Clinic Project. She also earned her B.A., magna cum laude with college honors, from University of California, Los Angeles where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She is admitted to practice in California.
