Katsuhiko Fujihira is a partner of Ito & Mitomi. His practice focuses on finance-related transactions. He advises clients on bond placements, corporate and limited recourse loans, private fund formation, and investments, and is also experienced in advising and representing creditors in insolvency proceedings, debt restructurings, and workouts. His clients range from banks and securities companies, to life insurance companies and real estate fund operators.

His recent engagements include negotiation and documentation for issuance of convertible bonds in overseas markets by Japanese issuers, negotiation concerning refinance and debt restructuring of non-performing private investment funds, advising clients on insolvency law issues in connection with acquisition of private fund operation businesses, documentation for M&A finances on the borrowers' side, debt restructuring involving issued and outstanding bonds, securities regulations in connection with corporate restructurings, and domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
