Kelsie Harris is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. She is a member of the firm’s Federal Tax group.
Ms. Harris specializes in the federal income taxation of corporate transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, and post-acquisition integrations. She also advises clients on foreign and domestic capital markets transactions, REIT structuring, private letter ruling requests, tax controversy matters and a broad range of general corporate tax planning matters.
Ms. Harris graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2017, where she was an associate of The George Washington Journal of Energy & Environmental Law and president of The George Washington Law Mock Trial Board. She received her LL.M. in taxation at New York University School of Law in 2018.
Her experience spans a wide range of public and non-profit organizations, including the Internal Revenue Service, The U.S. Attorney’s office for the Northern District of New York, and the New York Council of Nonprofits.
