Ken Newton is an associate in the Patent Group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Newton specializes in patent prosecution and counseling for clients in the area of electronics hardware. In addition, Mr. Newton’s experience includes preparing noninfringement and invalidity defenses in cases before the International Trade Commission and in the Eastern District of Texas.

Before receiving his J.D., Mr. Newton worked as a member of the technical staff at a research and development center and NASA field center. Mr. Newton holds a J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, and he received his M.S. and B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California.
