Lala Wu is an associate in the firm’s Environment and Energy Group. She counsels clients on land use, environmental, regulatory, and litigation matters across a range of industries, with a focus on commercial, mixed-use, and renewable energy project development. She also advises aviation and airport clients on an array of federal and state regulatory, development, and operational issues.
Ms. Wu received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, where she served on the editorial boards of the California Law Review and the Ecology Law Quarterly. During law school, she interned at the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Wu served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph C. Spero of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge Jennifer C. Boal of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also worked as an attorney at a boutique environmental and land use firm in Denver, Colorado.
