Lauren M. Bennett is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office, and a member of the Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group. She represents clients in white-collar criminal cases, including those relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), as well as in complex commercial litigation.

In addition to private practice, Ms. Bennett is also committed to serving the community through pro bono efforts and has successfully represented several unaccompanied minors in immigration hearings.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Bennett served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rudolph Contreras in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. She also participated in Penn Law’s Federal Appellate Externship, where she argued a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Ms. Bennett received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as senior editor for the Journal of International Law, and was a member of the Moot Court Board, for which she was a Keedy Cup Quarterfinalist. Ms. Bennett also received a Certificate in Business & Public Policy from The Wharton School.
