Leemor Banai is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Morrison Foerster and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.
Leemor advises public and private companies and private equity firms on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, capital markets transactions, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining the firm, Leemor has held various internships and externships in offices such as the Securities Exchange Commission Division of Corporation Finance, the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau Legal Division, and the Transportation Security Administration Office of Chief Counsel.
Leemor is an active member of the MoFo Vets Affinity Group, focused on pro bono work for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Leemor simultaneously earned her J.D. with honors from American University Washington College of Law and M.B.A from American University Kogod School of Business. While there, she was vice president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
