Lily Li is a member of the firm’s litigation group and focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. Ms. Li’s experience includes patent and trade secret litigation in software, Internet, electronic circuitry, semiconductor, medical devices, network security, and wireless communication.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Li was an associate with an Am Law 100 firm where she litigated patent and trade secret cases, conducted inter partes review, ex parte reexaminations and appeals before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and advised clients on various IP issues, including patentability, infringement, validity, freedom to operate, licensing, and trade secrets.

During and prior to law school, Ms. Li was a manager of intellectual property for a well-known Silicon Valley semiconductor company with offices throughout Asia and in the United States.

Ms. Li earned her J.D. at Santa Clara University School of Law, her M.S. in electrical engineering from Ohio University, and her B.S. in computer and electrical engineering from Nanjing University of Science & Technology in Nanjing, China.

Ms. Li is a native Mandarin speaker and is admitted to practice in California and before the USPTO.
