Linnea Pittman is an associate in the Litigation Department in the firm’s New York office.

Linnea’s practice focuses on advising clients on managing privacy and data security risks and on litigating privacy and data security matters. She assists with due diligence in corporate transactions, drafts privacy policies and compliance documents, and helps clients navigate complex regulatory regimes in the United States and internationally, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Federal Trade Commission Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation.

During law school, Linnea served as a Notes Editor on the NYU Law Review, where she authored a student Note, Combatting Copyright Overreach: Keeping 3D Representations of Cultural Heritage in the Public Domain, 95 N.Y.U. L. Rev. 1192 (2020). She was a finalist in the Marden Moot Court Competition and recipient of the Brief Writing Award for the highest score on her competition brief. She was also a student fellow at the Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy. During her 1L summer, she clerked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Linnea received her B.A. in Arabic and Government from Georgetown University.
