Lucía Roibal is an associate in the litigation department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.
Ms. Roibal received her J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2015. As a student at Stanford, she served as the Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Environmental Law Journal and as the Co-President of the Environmental Law Society. Additionally, Ms. Roibal worked as a Clinical Intern for the Stanford Law School Criminal Defense Clinic, where she received the Judge Thelton E. Henderson Prize for extraordinary performance in a clinical course.
Prior to her employment at Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Roibal worked as a Law Clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Crimes Section and as a Litigation Assistant for the Natural Resources Defense Council.
Ms. Roibal is proficient in Spanish; she is also a certified yoga instructor and a classical violist. She received her B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Cultures, cum laude, from Barnard College, Columbia University. She is admitted to practice law in California and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
