Margaret Babalola is an associate based in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and is a member of the Corporate M&A Group.

Margaret advises clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings and general corporate advisory matters. She has experience advising multinational organizations and private equity investors across a number industry sectors including technology, telecommunications and financial services. 

Margaret was awarded her Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) (First Class) from the University of Birmingham and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course and a Masters in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law with distinctions.

During her training contract at Morrison & Foerster, Margaret gained experience in the following practice areas: Corporate M&A, Capital Markets, Equity Derivatives, Commercial Litigation, Investigations and Arbitration. Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Margaret spent nearly three years working at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management where she was an investment manager.

Margaret actively contributes to Morrison & Foerster’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, having founded the firm’s first European ethnic minority network, MoFo Together. Margaret is currently a co-chair of the network.

Margaret is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
