Marissa Aubrey is a scientific analyst in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Dr. Aubrey received her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. As a graduate student researcher, Dr. Aubrey focused on organic and organometallic synthesis directed to the development of photoactive ferrocene-based anti-cancer drugs. Prior to her graduate studies, Dr. Aubrey worked for Selee Corporation on a team to develop micro-porous ceramic foam for the filtering of molten aluminum alloys for primary aluminum production.
She received her B.S. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Asheville where she conducted undergraduate research investigating small molecule anti-tumor compounds and cyclopropanes as homologs for sigmatropic rearrangements.
