Matt is a member of the litigation department at Morrison & Foerster.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Matt served as a law clerk to the Honorable Neil V. Wake at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and to the Honorable Elizabeth L. Branch at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Matt graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School. While in law school, Matt was a comments editor of the University of Chicago Law Review and a student director of the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab Clinic. He also received the Sidley Austin Prize for Excellence in Brief Writing and served as a research assistant to Professor William Hubbard.
Before attending law school, Matt taught general education courses at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. He received his B.A. in English and History magna cum laude from Pepperdine University. In his free time, Matt enjoys going to punk rock shows and practicing martial arts.
