Max Fei is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group and focuses his practice on all aspects of patent prosecution and counseling.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fei interned at Boeing and in semiconductor manufacturing, where he performed statistical analyses and implemented statistical process controls on multiple high-volume manufacturing processes.
Mr. Fei earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School. During law school, he worked as a patent prosecution summer associate and drafted office action responses involving software, semiconductors, medical devices, drones, telecommunications, and virtual reality. He also performed due diligence analysis for valuing a potential acquisition of a patent portfolio.
Mr. Fei obtained his M.S. in materials science and engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where he studied synthesis and application of nanomaterials for functional bioimaging and cancer detection. He received his B.S., summa cum laude, in mechanical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
Mr. Fei is registered to practice in California.
